How to Erase iOS Device Data Permanently on Mac

Step 1. Connect iDevice to Mac

After the installation, connect your device to Mac, then iPhone Data Eraser will automatically detect your device.

Step 2. Select a security level

From the main window, you can see there are three security levels – Low Level, Medium Level and High Level. Choose the one you need.

Step 3. Choose the right option to erase your device

You can choose “Erase Deleted Files” or “Erase All Data”. If you want to delete all files you have deleted on your device, please choose “Erase Deleted Files”. If you want to remove existing and deleted files, choose “Erase All Data”.

Step 4. Start to erase data on your device

If you in step 3 choose “Erase Deleted Files”, you need to check those data you want to remove permanently after the scan. If you choose “Erase All Data”, you need to enter “Delete” to confirm the deletion.
